The Department of Human Services Medicare Program offer subsidised Dental treatment for eligible children under the age of 18. Here at The Good Dentists Group, we offer Bulk Billing for this program meaning you will not have to pay anything out of pocket for your eligible child.
While at this time, Medicare does not have a program for Adults, you are invited to have a chat to us about how we can help you save on your Dental treatment as the parent or guardian of an eligible child.
Step 1:
To enquire about eligibility, you can either contact Medicare direct on 132 011 or call The Good Dentists Group on (03) 97290868.
Step 2:
The Medicare Child Dental Benefits Scheme includes a generous allowance of $1000 that can be used over 2 years from the date of initial claim. Every 2 years, the $1000 resets and you will have access to the funds again.
There are some restrictions on what dental treatments are covered by the scheme although the most common items are usually claimable. Scale and cleans, flouride treatment and fissure seals are just some of the treatments that are covered by the scheme.
We offer on the spot claims with HICAPS for your convenience. Simply make an appointment with one of our Dentists and your child will be able to begin using the amount toward their required treatment.
